Waiting for LOA Day 77

Happy New Year!

We have seen some LOAs for other families who had sent their files to China shortly before us. Please pray with us that our approval is here soon!

Sorry no posting over Christmas but it was very hectic in the Daley household. Ali and the kids did not make it up north due to weather and colds, we also missed MingGe deeply, but managed to have a great Christmas!

In honor of MingGe we made homemade dumplings on Christmas Eve. John was able to do this with the kids at the Dream Home and it brought back many special memories. Boy, does our family like pan fried dumplings (jiaozi)!

Christmas day was at our house. We were joined by my Mother, my grandmother Mum, brother Nick, wife Cheryl, sister Maria, husband Ed, children Ruby and Luke as well as my mother's friend Joe. Lots of great food, conversation and laughs.

I worked Friday but we were off again on Saturday to celebrate Christmas with the Daley's. Aunt Jill hosted with sons Michael and Peter. John's Mom and Dad also came as well as sister Jen and husband Rob, their children Dylan, Nolan and Sydney, and his Grandmother Mina (92). Another wonderful day with our family.

We can't for MingGe to be part of this family!! She has many Christmas presents to open when she arrives home!

2009 is going to be a year to remember! Love and Peace in the year of the Ox!

Day 49

Several families received their travel approval this week. This is usually followed by some LOAs... Keep praying that we receive our approval soon. What a Christmas present that would be!

Jack made a gingerbread house this weekend. The decorations included a big "M" over the front door - for MingGe. He is getting very excited to be a big brother.
